When I get asked and am trusted to capture one of the most important days in a couples life it is always a huge compliment. When Lucy and Richard asked to fly me to Australia it was a wow moment! A chance in a lifetime and I will always be so grateful!
Their chosen venue was in Masonmill Gardens in Carmel, Western Australia. Masonmill is set on ten acres of colourful gardens surrounded by the peaceful Jarrah forest of Carmel. The surrounding gardens were magic just stunning . Luscious flowers everywhere a large glistening fish pond filled with massive colourful Koi fish. Lucy would go to this venue to have coffee and breakfast with friends and absolutely loved it, so when she met Richard she introduced him to her favourite spot and they both would go spend time there together on some weekends and just walk around the gardens. They both absolutely love it so of course when they got engaged they knew it would make a perfect venue.
Lucy made a stunning Bride she was just striking a real natural beauty, she made the morning so relaxed as she herself was so chilled which then rubs off on everyone else. Richard the Groom was stunned when he saw Lucy walk up the aisle towards him with her beautiful Mum - she really was a vision. The ceremony was very special a real intimate moment and the setting was perfect with the Bride and Groom at the top of the steps in clear view of all their guests to take in the special moment. Myself and Lucy took a trip out to the venue a couple of days before the Wedding and found a nearby Peach Orchard just perfect for some stunning portraits of the couple - even better we also came across an empty old farm house and got permission to shoot there also everything worked out perfectly.
The day was just an amazing experience and Weddings like these are something extra special.
